Four Months & Counting ...

We just can't believe how much our sweet baby has grown. She went to her 4 month appointment and she weighs 13 lbs 12 oz and is 25 inchs long. My sister came to California and brought her son William it was fun to see the cousins together. Plus they seem to have the same waist and thigh measurement ... gotta love mama's girl!

11 Weeks again

She sure likes her swing .. and her fingers And in this outfit she can pull the fabric and buttons up to suck on them too.

She's happy to be outside which isn't happening very often or for very long in this crazy week of 100 degree plus heat! GAH!

11 Weeks

So we got a new chair for the baby to sit in. At first She's not sure she's that into it.

Almost a sad face ... Hmmm .... looking around ... Maybe this isn't that bad after all.
And finally some laughs.

But she's pretty happy to be out of the chair too.

YAY for Visitors!

So I should really learn to turn pictures but right now I just wanted them posted while the baby is sleeping. I can type one-handed while I hold her but it's not that much fun. And I 'm slower. So we'll just try to bang these out. We had some friends of ours that used to live in Bakersfield and moved to Idaho a few years back stop by yesterday. It was good to catch up and see how much the kids had grown and how much they hadn't changed. I am the worst correspondent EVER! But I love getting together and talking and playing just like I haven't seen you since yesterday or last week instead of 2007. YAY!! For popsicles

Happy Fourth of July!

We sure love patriotic toes! What a way to spend the afternoon.

Not bad for my bi-annual self pedicure even though I say it myself. So I can't figure out how to turn this picture ... but these next two shots demonstrate how life with a newborn is like. She's fine! Everything is spiffing. "I am cute! I am a baby patriot! I can sleep through fireworks and church and the night!"

And then it's not.

"Please come save me! I don't know what I want!"

We can't believe how much she changes. She getting so big - right before my eyes she's outgrowing her clothes.

We are at a month...

We had a doctor appointment today and I can hardly believe how much our girl has grown. She is 9 lbs 4oz and is 21 3/4 inches ... we braved the heat and went to church for the first time yesterday. She wore a yellow dress that was mine - I'm kinda sentimental that way. Church was a handful and I am glad that Grandma was there and that there will be many hands available to help on Sunday when we bless her. The Sad Face kills me!
